Our Guidelines
 

To ensure the each guest receive the utmost from his/her spa experience, we ask that these simple guidelines be followed. Our experienced staff and therapists are always available to discuss any special requirements that you may have. We are also always at hand to provide advice on suitable treatments and any questions you have about our facilities.

GENERAL SPA INFORMATION

Reservations needed.
Please reserve your treatment{s} in advance and receive a confirmation from us. Peak hours are typically in the evenings and on Saturdays. As your treatment time is reserved specially for you, please provide us one working day’s notice prior to your appointment time should you wish to reschedule or cancel your appointment.

Arrive early.
Please reach the spa at least 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment. Arriving late will simply limit your treatment time as we will end the treatment on its reserved start and end time so that the next guest would not be unduly inconvenienced. We seek your understanding that during fully-booked days, we will not proceed to perform any of the complimentary spa treatment ritual if you are more than 15 minutes late.

Extra time.
Please let us know in advance if you require extra showering or changing time so that we may reserve your treatment time in advance.

Spa questionnaire.
During your first visit to the spa, you will be asked to fill out a spa questionnaire. Please take the time to answer all the questions thoroughly and alert our spa receptionist/ consultant and even the therapist if you have any medical concerns and / or physical ailment.

Securing your valuables.
A locker is provided in hotel’s room or in hotel’s front office or in locker room. However, we recommend that no jewellery be worn in the spa. The management accepts no responsibility whatsoever loss of money or valuables of any kind brought into the spa.

Special considerations.
Before undertaking any spa treatments, please consult your health practitioner if you have any medical conditions such as high blood pressure, heart condition(s) or any other medical complications. As a general rule of the thumb, we do not advise ant heat-related treatments (steam baths, body wraps etc) for guests suffering from high blood pressure or heart condition(s). should you suffer from epileptic fits, hepatitis or any other inherent condition, we would be glad to make your spa treatment more enjoyable and safe if you can keep us informed.

Privacy please.
During body treatments, we will provide you with disposable underwear and for men, a pair of clean boxer shorts. Our therapists are professionally trained to employ appropriate draping techniques to ensure that your privacy is preserved. During facial sessions, you will be given a facial gown and for men, a kimono for use. Should you be given a treatment room that is not with an ensuite bath, you will be guided to the shower area and be left alone for a brief period to enjoy your shower. Fresh disposable underwear will be provided for your use after the bath. As this is a unisex spa, kindly have your kimono on at all times should you be traveling out of your treatment room.

Female guests.
If you are expecting or suspect that you may be – it is advised that you avoid treatments using deep pressure and hydrotherapy treatments involving heat. Please inform the spa receptionist / consultant or the therapist of your condition during reservation so that we can assign a therapist that is specially trained in pre-natal therapy for your maximum comfort and safety. Should you be experiencing your monthly cycle, you may wish to defer your body treatment to another day.

Minors.
The spa is glad to accept guests as young as 10 as long as they are able to take instruction and remain quiet. As ambience is of absolute importance, we appreciate if parents seek alternative care of their young whilst they are in treatment. Should the child be undergoing therapy, kindly ensure that you accompany him / her throughout.

Smoking and alcohol.
We do not permit smoking or drinking within the spa premises. We also recommend that you refrain from consuming alcohol eight hours before and after your treatment.

Respect for other guests.
A strict no mobile phone rule applies within the spa. It is the right of other guests to be given a noise-free environment so that they may enjoy the best of their treatment. In the same vein, talking loudly or chatting with your friends is not encouraged as it disturbs the peace and tranquility within.

Gratuities.
Gratuities are a matter of personal discretion. They should reflect your level of satisfaction with our services.

Comfort level during the treatment.
If at any time of the treatment you are not completely comfortable, whether it is the pressure of the massage or the volume of the music, simply let the services providers know. This is your time and the services providers are there to make sure your experience is everything that you want to be.

Product returns policy.
We hope you will be delighted by our products. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied, product returns will be honored with the store credits within 24 hours of purchase. Gift certificates, Sales certificates, Skincare and cosmetic products are not refundable or exchangeable.

Validity of treatments.
Every treatment bought must be utilized one year from its date of purchase.

Service fees and taxes.
All prices reflected are net. Should any prevailing government taxes be involved, this will be presented to you accordingly. All spa treatments do not have hidden costs and guests are advised to report any unsanctioned selling or without payment receipt or unhealthy approach by the front desk or service provider. Please report to hotel’s duty manager or call Veqish Spa HQ at +603- 5636 2577. A Free treatment will be given as reward.

Payment.
We accept cash and major credit cards. Resort guests may sign for spa charges to their room account. All prices are quoted in RINGGIT MALAYSIA (RM) and are subject to applicable government taxes.

Selling etiquette.
The spa rigorously trains all its staff in being there to recommend and advise the right treatment(s) for you. At no time will they infringe on their sense of professionalism and engage in hard-sell or overrate the treatment(s) in the course of trying to sell you the product / service. The management takes a serious view of any unprofessional conduct and guests are assured that their spa experience will not end in any pressurizing sales talk. You determine what you want to buy at your own discretion.

We recommend that customers read the labeling on the products before use. We suggest that a skin test be conducted before use. If you have sensitive skin, please consult with your physician before use. Many of our products are oil based and therefore surfaces become slippery when used.

Veqish Spa is not responsible for any illness or injury or any claims of illness or injuries that are alleged to have resulted from the use of our products or treatments. Appropriate precautions should be taken to avoid household injuries.

The management reserves the right changing the price and services without giving prior notice.
